Is the FX Work Dry Spell Ending?
Finally, signs of life in an otherwise dead industry are beginning to supply hope to thousands of below the line special effects artists. While few solid reports of work are yet surfacing, there is hope my many shop owners that this fall and winter will be a busy one.
Many long time industry pros are in danger of not even making rent. Some have families to provide for and are considering doing other work outside the business just to survive. Everyone in the business needs to get back to serious work or this X-Mas will be one without the G.I. Joe with the kung-fu grip.
