Warehouse51.com Closes It’s Vitrual Doors.
Another economic casualty, Warehouse51.com run by Los Angeles FX supply closed it’s doors officially today. All remaining company assets will be sold off to leverage debts incurred in attempting to keep the dot com afloat. Warehouse51.com Operations Manager Jon Bailey said “It’s a sad day for us and the customers we have served. A tremendous amount of work has gone into creating a clean, easy to use storefront for people to buy professional special effects supplies. Unfortunately, the economy and other outside pressures have forced our hand.” The domain will be expiring in less than 5 days and the email addresses that the company used previously are no longer valid as of this writing. Warehouse51.com primarily sold Rob Burman’s Rubberwear line of pre-made foam latex prosthetics and the accessories needed to use them.
